Dunedin artist Jim Cooper has been making ceramic sculptures since the mid nineteen eighties. Jim spent approximately 8 months last year in Taiwan, taking up residence in the Yingge Ceramics Museum to create his works for the show, which consisted of more than a 1000 individual pieces. He has recently launched a new expo at Brett McDowell Gallery on 5 Dowling Street, which shows figures with some Asian characteristics.
