The Return of Polaroid - Case turns smart phone into Polaroid camera
Prynt is a smartphone case that lets users turn any digital snap into a physical copy in under a minute.
Polaroid shut down all of its factories in 2008. Now a French start-up is aiming to leverage nostalgia, simplicity and the desire to convert digital memories into tangible items.
Prynt have created a case which fits iPhone 6 devices and simply requires the user to snap / plug their phone into the holder and they are ready to go. The project is still under development and will be launched on Kickstarter in the near future.
Are there other opportunities to resurrect old technology? The record player seems to have survived in an adapted form. What is next?
